Meal plans that start from your budget

Meal planning apps tell you what to cook. This one tells you what to buy. Pick your store and your weekly budget; it plans every meal of the week backwards from live grocery prices — buying whole packs, sharing ingredients across dinners, and carrying leftovers forward so the receipt math actually works.

The interesting part is the architecture: LLMs propose, code disposes. Models suggest dishes, but a deterministic TypeScript verifier enforces budget and allergen safety on every plan mutation — the model can't silently blow the budget or sneak in an allergen. Pricing is pack-level integer cents checked against real checkout totals.

Solo-built end to end: Expo/React Native app, Fastify + tRPC API, Supabase Postgres, Redis, and live catalogs from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Kroger, with more stores on the way.
